Molecular biodiversity of edaphic fauna, with special reference to neglected taxa
Research objectives: The research will focus on the alpha and beta diversity of the soil investigated with eDNA metabarcoding and
integrated taxonomy techniques. Particular attention will be paid to microarthropod taxa that are particularly
little known for the Italian territory, such as Protura, Symphyla, and Diplura. The results will be related to the type
of soil investigated.
