Use of molecular methodologies for rapid detection and monitoring of invasive exotic animal species
Research objectives: The research will focus on molecular methods and techniques for the identification of alien species, with particular reference to methods that allow rapid identification even from biological traces left by such species in the environment. Research activity will also provide indications on the possible routes and methods of entry and diffusion in the colonized territory, with particular reference to the Italian one.
