Applications for SSC Internal Grants Open June 21 to July 26, 2024
The grant aims to encourage and promote activities of the SSC Groups that contribute to the Species Conservation Cycle, through the allocation of funds between USD 2,000 - 3,500 for those projects to be undertaken between 2024 and 2025.

IUCN SSC Red List Grant Applications Open from June 21 to July 26, 2024
This call is aimed at increasing the representation of taxonomic groups on the IUCN Red List by adding new assessments for fungi and invertebrates (excluding dragonflies, cephalopods, freshwater decapods, warm-water reef-building corals). Through the allocation of small funds from ($USD) $3,000 to $5,000

The Fonseca Species Conservation Fund is now accepting proposals

The Fonseca Species Conservation Fund (FSCF) is for early career conservationists in GEF-recipient countries to start or progress their careers. The fund provides grants of up to $25,000 to support conservation efforts for five threatened species groups —amphibiansfreshwater fishprimatessmall mammalstortoises and freshwater turtles — urgently needing intervention and conservation action.

Funding applications are accepted from 1 to 30 June and 1 to 30 November for EOCA funding

This funding round’s specific theme will be ‘restoration’ to tie in with the UN Decade of Restoration, with a particular emphasis on mountain restoration. Still, other habitat protection and restoration projects are also welcome for a maximum of €30,000.

Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund opens grant applications 

This Fund provides targeted grants to individual species conservation initiatives for all animal, fungal and plant species. The Fund uses the IUCN Red List as the primary guide to the conservation status of a given species.

PTES Conservation Insight Grants are currently open for new applications

Conservation Insight Grants are available for projects that focus on endangered species for a duration of up to two years. The grant provides funding ranging from £3,000 to £10,000 per year, with a maximum total of £20,000.

Loro Parque Fundación open call for conservation and research projects

Loro Parque Fundación supports projects that mainly focus on parrots and marine species. Their main aim is to improve the conservation status of endangered species as well as to promote the conservation of the land and marine biodiversity.
